The center’s research covers county economic development strategy, digital transformation and upgrading of counties, and new-type urbanization of counties, etc. It has established “One Conference and Four Lists”, i.e. the County Economy Innovation and Development Forum, CCID Top 100 Counties, Top 100 Counties in Investment Potential, and Top 100 Counties in Central and Western China. Moreover, the center has fostered a service system featured with “One Platform and Three Plans” (namely, the County Industry Brain, Plan for Industry Leap, Investment Lead Plan and Industry Empowerment Plan), providing comprehensive services such as synthetic diagnosis for counties, industry development planning - construction of industry brain platforms, investment resource matching, regional brand summit and application for approval of pilot and demonstration zones.
Yuan Baohong, Deputy Director of the Center for County Economy Research. Research interests: over 10 years of experience in regional economy and county economy, dedicated to research on county and regional development strategies, industrial clusters, cultivation of emerging industries, and competitiveness of county investment.
Deng Chuanlin, Deputy Director of the Center for County Economy Research. Research interests: regional economy and county economy research, with his key research areas covering county quality development assessment, county industry, county governance, county happiness, etc.
Ma Cheng’en, Vice President of CCID Consulting, Director of the Center for County Economy Research, Ph.D. Of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Senior Engineer. Research interests: regional economy, mainly regional industrial patterns and industrial economy development, with a focus on industrial transformation and upgrading paths, industrial transfer and evolution, regional economic development strategies, etc.
