On June 13, CCID and the American Chamber of Commerce in China (AmCham) co-hosted a roundtable for foreign-funded enterprises to carry out in-depth exchanges on promoting new industrialization and international cooperation. Vice President Zhang Xiaoyan of CCID presided over the roundtable, and Vice President Joanna Ma of AmCham China, attended the meeting. More than 10 foreign enterprises, including Dell, SAP, Amazon, HPE, GE Aviation and Johnson & Johnson, participated in the meeting.
The roundtable centered upon four major topics including “New Industrialization”, “Digital Transformation of SMEs”, “Industrial Decarbonization” and “Digital Transformation of Manufacturing”, the representatives of the CCID research centers shared the industrial policies and industry development in China, and five representatives of foreign-funded enterprises made speeches to introduce the development of their enterprises in China, technological innovations and suggestions. The AmCham and foreign-funded enterprises admitted that the business environment in China had been continuously improving in recent years. This roundtable allowed them to further understand the new industrialization in China. The AmCham representatives were willing to carry out various exchanges and cooperation with CCID, focusing on high-end, intelligent and green development to share more experience and practice, and actively participate in the development process of China's new industrialization.
Vice President Zhang Xiaoyan, said that CCID attached great importance to exchanges and cooperation, and was willing to continue to strengthen the regular exchanges with AmCham and foreign-funded enterprises through joint research and project cooperation, and actively explore joint research on relevant topics, so as to help foreign-funded enterprises to expand their business in China, invest in China, and contribute to China's new industrialization, so as to achieve mutual benefit and win-win development.
