Established on November 7, 2018, the Center for International Security and Strategy (CISS) of Tsinghua University is an university-level research institution in the field of international security and strategy. CISS aims to remain current with the changes in global dynamics, offering policy suggestions for decision-makers through researches on topics of foreign affairs, international relations, and security and strategic studies. It strives to promote, elucidate, and spread China’s perspectives and policy views by carrying out various forms of knowledge exchanges and cooperation internationally, aiming to enhance the international community’s understanding of China and improve Tsinghua’s global influence in the fields of international relations and strategic studies.
