Tsinghua University Suzhou Automotive Research Institute was established in 2011, it is the first specialized  research institute of Tsinghua University for industrial applications, and it is also a comprehensive automotive  industry research institute jointly built by Tsinghua University and Suzhou Municipal government. It is committed to the research and development of automotive application technology, the transformation of scientific and  technological achievements and the incubation of high-tech enterprises. Focusing on the key directions of  intelligent network connection, new energy, energy conservation and emission reduction, lightweight and safety collision, NVH, leading the development of the industry with the research and development and  industrialization of new technologies and new products, and promoting industrial upgrading with technology,  finance and talent services, forming six business segments such as scientific and technological innovation,  technical services, scientific and technological finance, talent services, technology transfer, and enterprise  incubation.
